After lots of teasings, Google has finally launched the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. The Google Pixel 3 XL is the bigger version of the vanilla Pixel 3 with a few differences and a more expensive price tag. The Pixel 3 XL is the successor to the previous Google Pixel 2 XL that was launched around this time the year before.

Display
The display of the Pixel 3 XL is one of the places that differentiates it from its smaller sibling. It has a 6.3 inches P-OLED display that has a QHD+ resolution with HDR support. The display has a big notch at the top which houses the selfie cameras, speakerphone, etc. The screen is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 which is resistant to easy scratches. It also has AOD thanks to the P-OLED display.
Design and Body
The design of the Google Pixel 3 XL is quite simple and similar to the previous-gen (at least for the rear). It comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the rear and front with an aluminum frame. The phone has a thickness of 7.9 mm and weighs about 184 grams which makes it quite sleek and easy to hold.
Processor and Memory
The Google Pixel 3 XL is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 flagship chipset coupled with the Adreno 630 GPU. It is paired with 4GB of RAM and either 64GB or 128GB of fast UFS 2.1 storage. Unfortunately, there’s no micro SD card support.
Camera
Coming to the camera which is one of the top features and highlights of any Google Pixel smartphone, we have a single rear camera and dual selfie camera.
The rear camera features a 12.2MP main camera with OIS and PDAF. It can record 4K videos at 30 fps and 1080p videos at up to 120 fps.
On the front, is the dual selfie camera setup that features an 8MP wide camera and another 8MP ultrawide camera for a wider selfie view. It can only record videos at up to 1080p 30 fps.
Battery and Charging
On the inside, the Google Pixel 3 XL is backed by a 3,430 mAh non-removable Li-Po battery which is quite small when compared to other brands’ flagships like the Galaxy S10 Plus and Galaxy S9. As for charging, it has support for 18W fast charging via its USB-C port and also supports Qi wireless charging.
Network and Connectivity
There’s support for 4G network on the Pixel 3 XL and it supports the following LTE bands: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 28, 29, 32, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 46, 66, & 71.
As for connectivity, it comes with dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and NFC. It also has support for Power Delivery 2.0 via its USB-C port.
Software
As for software, the Google Pixel 3 XL runs on Android 9 Pie straight out of the box and it is upgradable to the latest Android 12 as of now in 2022.

The Google Pixel 3 XL was priced at $899 and $999 for the 64GB model and 128GB model respectively when it launched in October 2018. But now in 2022, the Google Pixel 3 XL price starts at $150 (or less sometimes) and it is available at global online stores.
