Following the initial launch of the Realme 12 series, we’ve seen four devices, and now, a fifth has been added with the Realme 12X. Let’s talk about what this new device has to offer in the very competitive smartphone market.
Realme 12X Features
Upfront, the Realme 12X sports a 6.67-inch IPS LCD display that has a FHD+ resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate. It can reach 625 nits at its peak and can also go as low as 1-nit.
Under the hood, the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ runs things, and it is paired with 12GB of RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of internal storage.
The phone comes running on Android 14 with RealmeUI 5.0 on top.
On the rear, the Realme 12X has a huge camera island but in reality, we only have one truly working lens. There is a 50MP main camera paired with a gimmicky depth camera to fill up space. On the front, there is an 8MP selfie camera tucked into the punch-hole cutout.
The phone is packed with a 5,000 mAh battery, and it has support for 15W fast charging via its USB-C port.
There is a fingerprint sensor on the power button for seamless biometric authentication, and thankfully, the 3.5mm headphone jack is present here.
The phone is IP54 certified for resistance against water splashes and dust. It will be available in two colors: Black Jade and Bluebird.
Realme 12X Price and Availability
The Realme 12X Price is set at $210 for the base 256GB model and to get the highest-end 512GB model you are going to part with $250.
The phone will be available from Realme’s official store by the 1st week of next month, and there will be a discount for early birds.
