Vivo X100 Specs, Features, and Price

After teasing its new flagship series for a while, Vivo has finally launched the X100 series which comprises the Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro. They are the first set of phones to come with the newly launched and anticipated MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset. Here, I’ll be talking about the Vivo X100, its features, specs, and price, so you can get to know everything about the phone.

First, we need to talk about the display as that is the first thing you would interact with on the phone. The Vivo X100 has a curved 6.78-inch 8T LTPO AMOLED display with support for 10-bit colors and a 1260p resolution. The display has support for a variable refresh rate of 1-120Hz, which helps to improve battery life. The display can also reach up to 3,000 nits of brightness and it does a good job at eye protection with 2,160Hz PWM dimming. There is a built-in fingerprint reader, it is optical as opposed to ultrasonic which most other flagships use.

Up on the screen, there is a tiny punch-hole cutout that houses the 32MP front-facing camera. Now, let’s move to the rear camera. There is a triple camera setup that features a 50MP main camera with f/1.57 aperture paired with a 64MP telephoto camera with OIS & 3X zoom and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. The rear cameras use T* lens coating which is said to reduce reflectivity.

As I said earlier, the Vivo X100 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset, bringing noticeable improvements in CPU, graphics, and power consumption. You can read about the flagship chipset in detail here.
The chipset is paired with up to 16GB of the latest LPDDR5T RAM and up to 1TB of the fast UFS 4.0 storage.

The Vivo X100 comes with a fairly huge 5,000 mAh non-removable battery which has support for 120W super fast charging (advertised to go 0% to 50% in 11 mins). Unfortunately, there is no support for wireless charging as that is reserved for the more premium X100 Pro.
However, the phone still comes with IP68 certification as well as support for WiFi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4. There is also an IR blaster present. As for software, the phone comes running the newest OriginOS 4 based on Android 14.
