Vivo is a Chinese technology company, and it has launched its top flagship, the Vivo X100 Pro which is a part of the Vivo X100 series. The X100 Pro was launched alongside its non-Pro sibling, the Vivo X100. Apart from the presence of the new MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset, the X100 Pro comes with a new periscope Zeiss APO lens and it debuts the new Vivo V3 Imaging chip.

Vivo X100 Pro Features

The Vivo X100 Pro sports a 6.78-inch 8T LTPO AMOLED 10-bit panel with a variable refresh rate of 1 – 120Hz and a 1260p resolution. The display can get up to 3,000 nits of brightness, and it has 2,160Hz PWM dimming. The screen has a tiny punch hole cutout housing a selfie camera and it also accommodates an optical in-display fingerprint sensor.

On the rear, there is a camera island which houses a triple camera setup. The main camera is a Sony IMX989 1-inch type sensor. The second camera is the new 50MP Zeiss APO-certified telephoto lens with 4.3X optical zoom. The last camera is a 50MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.0 aperture. Each camera has a T* lens coating which is said to help reduce 50% of reflectivity when compared to its predecessor.
As I mentioned earlier, the new Vivo V3 Imaging chip makes its debut on the Vivo X100 Pro, and it handles recording and processing of 4K portrait video. It should also improve the general camera performance.
Upfront, there is a 32MP selfie camera tucked in the punch-hole cutout.

Under the hood, the X100 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset, you can read about it in detail here. The phone comes with 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5T RAM and 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.

The Vivo X100 Pro is backed by a 5,400 mAh non-removable battery. It comes with support for 100W fast wired charging and 50W fast wireless charging. The phone comes with IR blasters and it has IP68 certification. For connectivity, there’s support for Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 7, 5G.
The phone is available in four colors: Black, Orange, White, and Blue.

Vivo X100 Pro Price and Availability

The Vivo X100 price starts at $685 for the base 12GB 256GB model, and it goes up to $825 for the highest end 16GB 1TB model. The phone will go on sale in China on November 21, and information on global availability and prices will be announced soon.
