Over the past few months, Honor has launched a couple of really good smartphones, and today, they continue with the launch of the Honor X50i+. The Honor X50i+ is a lower midrange smartphone which means it is set at a relatively affordable price point. Despite this, the phone still comes with some interesting features that make it stand out from the crowd of other lower midrangers.

Honor X50i+ Features
The Honor X50i+ headlining feature definitely has to be the 108MP main camera and that’s what we will talk about first. On the rear, there is a dual camera setup with the main camera being a 108MP sensor with f/1.75 aperture. It is accompanied by a 2MP depth camera which I would consider to be a gimmick. As for the front camera, there is an 8MP camera in an oval cutout which looks like it was inspired by Apple iPhone’s Dynamic Island.
Under the hood, the Honor X50i+ is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6080 chipset which has a 2.4GHz max clock speed and is built on a 6nm node. The processor has 12GB of RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of internal storage. Unfortunately, there is no micro SD card slot for expanding the storage.
The phone has a 6.7-inch AMOLED Display with a Full HD+ resolution with up to 90Hz refresh rate. The display is great and it is even made better by the presence of slim bezels which is something not too many midrange phones care about.
I think the design of the phone is also another top feature you get. On the rear, the camera setup is in a flattened circle. The phone is just 6.78 mm thin and the flat edges emphasize this a lot, it also weighs 166 grams. This makes it one of the lightest and slimmest phones launched this year.
The color options are also great as it is available in Black, Green, Light Blue, and Powder Gold. The last two have a rear panel with sparkling designs while the first two come with a plain panel.
The Honor X50i+ is backed by a 4,500 mAh non-removable battery which is not bad considering how slim the phone is. The phone comes with support for 33W fast charging which is an impressive feat.
The phone comes with Android 13 with MagicOS 7.2 on top. There is also support for 5G networks on here.
Honor X50i+ Price and Availability
The Honor X50i+ price starts at $220 (CNY 1,599) for the 256GB model and it goes up to $245 (CNY 1,799) for the 512GB model.
The phone just launched in China and is already on sale in the country. However, there has been no information as to when or even if it will make its way to the international market.
