Redmi Note 11 Series launched in China: Everything you need to know

After lots of teasing and leaks, Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Note 11 series in China and it comes with three phones. The Redmi Note 11 series comprises the vanilla Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11 Pro, and the Redmi Note 11 Pro+. The Pro and Pro+ models are similar except for the 120W fast charging support on the Note 11 Pro+ and the bigger battery on the Note 11 Pro. In this article, I’ll be sharing with you all the info you need to know about the newly launched Redmi Note 11 series including specs its price, and availability.

The Redmi Note 11 comes as the successor to the previous Redmi Note 10.

The vanilla Redmi Note 11 has a MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G (6nm) SoC coupled with the Mali G57 MC2 GPU. It is available in four memory configurations: 4GB 128GB, 6GB 128GB, 8GB 128GB, and 8GB 256GB. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have a micro SD slot. It runs on MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11 straight out of the box.
Upfront, it has a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display that an FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz high refresh rate. It has a punch-hole cutout at the top center.

As for the camera, there’s a dual rear camera setup that features a 50MP camera and an 8MP ultrawide camera. It also has a 16MP selfie camera.
The Redmi Note 11 comes with a 5,000 mAh battery and now has support for 33W fast charging which should charge the phone from 0% to 100% in about 62 minutes.
It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner on the power button and still retains the 3.5mm audio jack. It also has an IR blaster and stereo speakers.
As for pricing, the Redmi Note 11 starts at CNY1,199 ($187). The first flash sale will take place on Monday, November 1.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro+ are the same phones excluding the difference I stated at the beginning of this article.

On the front, they have a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that has an FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate with a 360Hz touch sampling rate. The display has a small selfie camera punch-hole at just 2.96mm in diameter.
Under the hood, the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro+ are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 920 5G (6nm) SoC coupled with the Mali-G68 MC4 GPU. They come with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage with no micro SD card slot.

On the rear, they both have a triple camera setup that features a 108MP camera with Samsung HM2 sensor, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP telemacro camera. They both have a 16MP selfie camera also.
Coming to the battery, the Redmi Note 11 comes with a large 5,160 mAh battery that has support for 67W fast charging via its USB-C port. On the other hand, the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ has a smaller 4,500 mAh battery but supports 120W fast charging which can charge it fully in about 15 minutes.

They both have a 3.5mm audio jack and JBL-tuned stereo speakers with two 0.65 cubic mm audio chambers on the two sides of the phone that aim to enhance sound.

As for pricing, the Redmi Note 11 Pro will start at CNY 1,699 ($265) while the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ will start at CNY1,999 ($310). They will be available from November 5.
