Samsung is a South Korean technology company and it is one of the largest smartphone brands in the global market. A couple of days ago, Samsung launched the Samsung Galaxy A04 and now, it has launched the Samsung Galaxy A04s.
The Galaxy A04s is coming in as a slightly improved version of the Galaxy A04. It is going to have a better display with a higher refresh rate, a more powerful processor, and an improved camera system. The phone is still going to be an entry-level device so the price increase is expected to be quite reasonable.

Upfront, the phone still has a large 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, a 20 by 9 aspect ratio, and a peak brightness of 400 nits. The major highlight here is the support for a smoother 90Hz refresh rate which will enhance the gaming and scrolling experience.
At the top of the screen, there is a water drop notch that helps to house the same 5MP selfie camera. As for the rear, there is a slight upgrade as it now has a triple camera setup as opposed to two. The triple rear camera setup has a 50MP main camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth camera.
On the inside, the Samsung Galaxy A04s draws its power from the octa-core Exynos 850 chipset that is built on an 8nm fabrication process. It has eight Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz coupled with the Mali G52 GPU. This is a significant upgrade over its predecessor and less premium sibling.
The phone comes with 3GB or 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and either 32GB or 64GB of internal storage with a dedicated micro SD card slot.
As for software, the phone comes running on One UI Core 4 based on the latest Android 12 OS. The Galaxy A04s comes with support for 4G networks, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS. It has a 3.5 mm headphone jack as well as Dolby Atmos support. On the side, the Galaxy A04s has a fingerprint sensor embedded in the power button.
Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy A04s is backed by a battery that has a capacity of 5,000 mAh. It doesn’t have support for fast charging but at least, it charges via a USB Type-C port as opposed to micro USB.
As for color options, the phone is available in Black, Green, White, and Copper.
