Zound Industries is the Swedish brand behind Marshall and Urbanears audio products, and they have partnered with Adidas on three new TWS earbuds. The three new TWS earbuds are the Adidas ZNE. 01 ANC, Adidas ZNE 01, and the Adidas FWD-02 Sport. In this article, we’ll be sharing with you the info you need to know about these three new TWS earbuds from Adidas.
Adidas ZNE 01 ANC
The Adidas ZNE 01 ANC is the leader of the pack as it has active noise cancellation, 6mm drivers, and have 3 mics in each bud. It has a 20-hour battery life with ANC on with the charging case and a 26-hour battery life without ANC. The charging case has a USB-C port and takes about <2 hours to charge fully. The Adidas ZNE 01 ANC comes with Bluetooth 5.2 with a maximum range of 10 meters. The buds have touch gestures to control certain functions. The earbuds have IPX5 certification while the case has IPX4 certification, so a little bit of rain won’t damage either of them. As for color options, you can get it in either Light Grey or Night Grey.
The Adidas ZNE 01 ANC is priced at $189.
Adidas ZNE 01
This is the least expensive one out of the three new Adidas TWS earbuds. The Adidas ZNE 01 is lacking ANC but has 12mm dynamic drivers and a more classical half in-ear design with no silicone tips. Each bud has one mic and it comes with Bluetooth 5.2. The battery life is rated at 20 hours with the charging case and 5 hours on each bud. The charging case can charge wirelessly or via USB-C, and it takes 1.5 hours to charge the earbuds fully from the case. It also has touch functions just like its more expensive sibling.
The Adidas ZNE 01 comes in one Grey color and is priced at $99.
Adidas FWD-02 Sport
Finally, we have the Adidas FWD-02 Sport TWS earbuds which focus on running and other similar sporting activities. It has an in-ear design and comes with several interchangeable ear tips for topmost comfort. It has 6mm drivers and each bud has 2 mics. It comes with Bluetooth 5.2 like others and has a 10 meters maximum range. The battery is rated at 25 hours with the case and 6 hours on the buds alone. The charging case charges via USB-C only. It also has programmable touch functions.
The Adidas FWD-02 Sport earbuds is priced at $169.
