After the Redmi Note 11 series launch in China, Xiaomi also launched a new set of accessories: Redmi Watch 2, Watch 2 Lite, Smart Band Pro, and Buds 3 Lite. In this article, we’ll go through the features of these newly launched smart accessories.
Redmi Watch 2
The Redmi Watch 2 is the successor to the previous Redmi Watch from the previous year. It now boasts a 1.6-inch AMOLED display with slimmer bezels and a resolution of 320 x 360 pixels. The watch now comes in at 31g of weight and is available in 3 colors for the watch body and 6 colors for the TPU strap.
The Watch 2 also comes with improved efficiency and can now last up to 12 days on a single charge. It still charges using a magnetic connector.
The Redmi Watch 2 is powered by the Apollo 3.5 chipset and supports up to 117 different sports modes, including swim tracking. It is rated for 5 ATM (50m) of water resistance. It comes with the usual sleep tracking, heart rate monitoring, and a blood-oxygen (SpO2) sensor which is a new feature on here.
The watch supports four global positioning systems – GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou. It also has NFC.
As for price, the Redmi Watch 2 is set at CNY400 ($63), it is available for pre-order now and will start shipping on November 11.
Redmi Watch 2 Lite
The Redmi Watch 2 Lite is a watered-down version of the Watch 2 with fewer premium features. It comes with a 1.55-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 320 x 360 pixels. It has the same set of sensors as its more expensive sibling with GPS support also.
The battery life is pretty good as it is rated for 10 days under normal usage and 5 days under heavy usage. In GPS mode, it can go for up to 14 hours, which is impressive.
Xiaomi hasn’t shared pricing and availability details on the Redmi Watch 2 Lite yet.
Redmi Smart Band Pro
The Redmi Smart Band Pro is the sequel to the Smart Band that was launched around this time last year and it comes with better and more equipped features.
The Smart Band Pro comes with a 1.47-inch AMOLED screen with 450 nits of maximum brightness and 282 PPI, the screen is protected by 2.5D tempered glass. It has a rectangular-shaped body made of polycaprolactam (type of nylon, plastic) with a 5 ATM rating.
As for sensors, it comes with an accelerometer, a gyroscope, a PPG heart rate monitor, and a light sensor for automatic brightness adjustment. The Redmi Smart Band Pro can support over 110 types of workout modes. The watch also has SpO2 (blood oxygen) tracking on board.
The battery life on here is pretty great also, it should last for about 14 days under normal usage or 20 days in power saving mode.

Redmi Buds 3 Lite
The Redmi Buds 3 Lite is a toned-down version of the Buds 3 Pro or AirDots 3 Pro that was launched sometime last year. The Buds 3 Lite features a “cat’s ear” design, which should make the buds more comfortable and secure in your ears.
The Redmi Buds 3 Lite boasts 18 hours of battery life which is quite impressive but not close to the 28 hours by the Buds 3 Pro. The case has a USB-C port for charging. The buds comes with Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, and they have basic IP54 water resistance to protect them against rain and sweat.
The Redmi Buds 3 Lite is priced at CNY 100 ($16).
