A few weeks ago, Samsung launched the Samsung Galaxy A04, following it up with the Samsung Galaxy A04s some weeks later. Now, the South Korean company has launched the Samsung Galaxy A04e, silently joining the Galaxy A04 series.
The Galaxy A04e is going to be the entry-level smartphone of the new series as it has watered-down specs when compared to its already-launched counterparts. The Galaxy A04e comes with a large HD+ display, a dual camera setup, and a huge battery capacity.
Without wasting much of our time, let’s dive into everything you need to know about the newly launched Samsung Galaxy A04e.
Samsung Galaxy A04e Specs and Features
Upfront, the Galaxy A04e comes with a large 6.5-inch display that has an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels with a 20 by 9 aspect ratio. It has a water drop notch at the top but there are still noticeable bezels around the display.
The water drop notch houses a 5MP selfie camera with a dual rear camera setup featuring a 13MP main camera and a 2MP depth camera.
The Galaxy A04e is powered by an octa-core processor that is rumored to be the MediaTek Helio G35 SoC. It is paired with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM, and you can pick from 32GB or 64GB, or 128GB of internal storage. There is a dedicated micro SD card slot so you can still expand the storage.
The phone comes running on Android 12 with One UI Core 4.1 skin on top (a watered-down version of One UI for entry-level models).
On the inside, the Galaxy A04e draws its power from a 5,000 mAh battery that only supports 10W of charging.
The Samsung Galaxy A04e comes in a plastic body that comes in at 188 grams of weight and 9.1mm in thickness. The phone comes with support for 4G LTE networks, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS and it has a USB Type-C port.

The Samsung Galaxy A04e price is yet to be officially announced by the company but it is expected to be the cheapest out of the A04 series. However, it can be confirmed that the phone will be in three colors: blue, copper, and light blue.
