Design and Body
The Samsung Galaxy S7 looks very similar to the previous Galaxy S6 with it having a metal and glass build.
The straight-sided smartphone has slightly-rounded corners and is protected on the front and back with state-of-the-art Corning Gorilla Glass 4.
Samsung has given the phone water proofing with it being IP68 certified so it can survive being in water of up to 1.5 meters depth for up to 30 minutes. It has Samsung Pay with it so you can make payments with all registered merchants.

Although, the screen is not as curved at the Galaxy S7 Edge.
Processor and Memory
Samsung Galaxy S7 features an octa-core Exynos 8890 chipset which clocks at 2.3 GHz coupled with a Mali T880 MP12 GPU for gaming and graphics related activities. Although, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor will be used in some regions. The phone comes with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM which Samsung described as 88% faster. It comes with a UFS 2.0 32GB or 64GB built-in storage which is also very fast with a micro SD card slot for expanding the storage. However, the micro SD card slot is only available in the dual SIM model and it’s an hybrid slot.
