Infinix Smart 8 Features

As expected, the Infinix Smart 8 has some noticeable improvements over its predecessor, and I’ll highlight them.

Looking at the phone, you’d be greeted by the new design, the new ring flash will definitely catch your attention.
The Infinix Smart 8 has a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display that has an HD+ resolution with a peak brightness of 500 nits. The first change here is the presence of a punch hole cutout for the selfie, this cutout also enables a Dynamic Island-like UI. The display now has a 90Hz refresh rate which is going to help make scrolling and gaming smoother.

Under the hood, the Infinix Smart 8 draws its power from the Unisoc T606 processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. There is a micro SD card slot so you can expand the storage.

Coming to the cameras, there is a dual camera setup on the rear which contains a 13MP main camera and a VGA depth camera. On the front, you’re greeted with an upgraded 8MP camera as opposed to the 5MP one on its predecessor.

The phone comes with a 5,000 mAh non-removable battery which should easily last you throughout a whole day. Unfortunately, there is no support for fast charging. However, there is now a USB-C port which is a major upgrade from the micro USB of the Smart 7.

Another tiny improvement comes in the software department as the phone now runs on Android 13 straight out of the box.
The color options here are quite interesting as the phone comes in Galaxy White, Timber Black, Shiny Gold, and Crystal Green.
