Tecno Mobile launched the Tecno F3 which can be also called Tecno Pop 1 in the spring of 2018. The Tecno F3 Pop 1 is an entry-level smartphone which comes with basic Android features at a very low price. Being an entry-level smartphone, it doesn’t come with any great specs that are mouth-watering, so don’t expect much from it. In this article, I’ll be showing you the specs of Tecno F3 or Tecno Pop 1 and I’ll be doing a review detailing if it’s worth buying in 2020.

Design and Body
The Tecno F3 comes in a full plastic body which has good designs and aesthetics. Tecno Pop 1 has very nice and attractive looks. The back of this phone has a black distinct design at the top where you have the camera and flash alongside POP 1 inscription written at the top left.
Display
The Tecno F3 Pop 1 sports a 5.45 inches TFT LCD display with a resolution of 480×960 pixels and 197 pixels per inch density. The screen has an 18:9 aspect ratio which gives the phone more beauty.
As I said before, the phone has no great specs, the display resolution is poor and not sharp&crisp but I guess it’s a way of cutting costs down.
Processor and Memory
Tecno F3 is powered by a quad-core Mediatek MT6580W SoC which clocks at 1.3 GHz coupled with Mali 400 MP2 GPU for gaming and graphics-related activities. The processor is an entry-level one so don’t do things heavy on it.
The phone comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB built-in storage with a micro SD card slot for expanding the storage.
Camera
The camera on this phone is nothing spectacular. The Tecno Pop 1 has a 5MP rear camera which has a LED flash and can record 1080p videos at 30 fps.
At the front, we also have a 5MP camera for taking selfies. The front camera has a LED flash which helps in low light situations.
Network and Connectivity
The Tecno F3 comes with only 3G and 2G network in it for downloading, browsing and all other activities that require a network connection. The 3G network is expected to open techfashy.com in less than 10 seconds. The phone comes with Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, GPS, FM Radio and WiFi hotspot. It has a micro USB 2.0 port for charging and data transfer.
Battery and Charging
The Tecno F3 Pop 1 comes with a 2,400 mAh non-removable Li-Ion battery. The battery is not huge so it may not last you 8f you’re a heavy user. As for charging, there is no fast charging technology of any kind supported in this phone.
Software
Tecno F3 runs on Android 8 Oreo GO edition. The Go edition is a light Android version for phones with 1GB RAM.
Final Verdict :
Looking at the specs of the Tecno F3 Pop 1, it is not worth buying in 2020 as almost all the specs are now outdated. From the display to the processor to the camera to the battery, the Tecno F3 is not a good buy in 2020. There are other phones in the same price range in 2020 that are better options.
