Design and Body
The Smart 3 Plus has an attractive design and body, it has a triple rear camera despite one of it just being a gimmick and a dewdrop notch display as part of the top selling points. The phone comes in a full plastic body which is a bit durable but doesn’t give it a premium feel which some other budget smartphone give. The budget smartphone has a thickness of 7.8 mm and weighs 148 grams so holding it in the hands for a long time is no ish.

The phone has the gradient finish in colourations of Midnight Black, Aqua Blue, Cosmic Purple, and Bordeaux Red.
Below the chin, you’d find the speaker grille, micro USB port and a 3.5 mm audio jack. At the back, you’d find the triple camera and the fingerprint sensor which is user for unlocking.
Display
The Infinix Smart 3 Plus sports a 6.2 inch IPS LCD display with an HD+ resolution of 720×1520 pixels, 80% screen to body ratio and 271 pixels per inch density. The screen has 19:9 aspect ratio which allows more screen space in a relatively small body. The display is not very sharp and crisp but it’s a budget smartphone so they’re cutting costs.

Processor and Memory
Infinix Smart 3 Plus uses a budget grade processor all to cut the costs down. It uses a quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 processor which clocks at 2.0 GHz coupled with PowerVR GE8320 GPU for gaming and graphics-related activities. The processor is built on a 12nm energy-efficient process.
The phone comes with either 2GB or 3GB of RAM and 32GB built-in storage which is expandable using a micro SD card.
Camera
The Smart 3 Plus comes with a triple rear camera which features a 13MP + 2MP + QVGA sensor. The 13MP camera is the main camera coupled with a 2MP camera which Infinix Mobility didn’t state the purpose and a QVGA sensor. Don’t be deceived, the QVGA sensor is as useless as “P” in “Psychology”. The rear camera can record 1080p videos at 30 fps.
At the front, we have an 8MP sensor which is fitted in the dewdrop notch for taking selfies.
Network and Connectivity
The Infinix Smart 3 Plus has support for 4G network which gives you access to fast blazing internet speeds of up to 150 Mbps when downloading and 50 Mbps when uploading. It had support for the following 4G bands: 1, 3, 5, 8, 38, 40, 41.
It comes with Bluetooth v5.0 A2DP LE, WiFi, GPS and WLAN hotspot.
Battery and Charging
The battery is not huge like what some other budget smartphones have but it is okay if you’re an average user. The Infinix Smart 3 Plus comes with a 3,500 mAh non-removable Li-Po battery. There’s no official information stating whether it had support for fast charging of any kind. But I guess if you get a 10W charger it should charge faster than using the in box charger.
Software
The Infinix Smart 3 Plus runs on Android 9 Pie with Infinix own XOS UI skin on top out of the box.
