Apple has announced the MacBook Pro 14-inch and 16-inch for 2023 with the latest Apple M2 Pro and M2 Max chipsets. They come in as the successor to the previous edition of the MacBook Pro 14″ and 16″ models.

MacBook Pro (2023) 14-inch and 16-inch
The MacBook Pro is the best laptop that Apple releases, and an upgrade has been knocking on the door this year.
The MacBook Pro 14-inch and 16-inch have a new chipset, better battery life, more memory and storage, and updated connectivity options. Everything else remains the same, the body, the display, etc.

With the M2 Pro on the MacBook Pro, you can get a 10-core CPU and 16-core GPU or a 12-core CPU and 19-core GPU. With the M2 Max, you can get a 12-core CPU and 30-core GPU or a 12-core CPU and 38-core GPU.
The M2 Pro has either 16GB or 32GB of LPDDR5 unified memory while the M2 Max has 32GB or 64GB or 96GB of LPDDR5 unified memory. As for storage, it can be configured from 512GB up to 8TB for the two MacBook Pros.
Apple has three preset configurations for memory, storage, and chipset. The cheapest is the MacBook Pro 14-inch with M2 Pro, 16GB RAM, and 512GB flash storage.
For connectivity, the Macs now have Wi-Fi 6E for better wireless connectivity. HDMI 2.1 is also a new feature and it supports up to 8K at 60Hs and 4K at 240Hz.
As I said, improved battery life is another upgrade that the 2023 editions of the MacBook Pro 14-inch and 16-inch bring. The smaller 14-inch model is rated at 18 hours for video playback and 12 hours for wireless web browsing. The bigger 16-inch model is rated at 22 hours for video playback and 15 hours for wireless web browsing. These are noticable improvements over the previous gen models.

The MacBook Pro 14-inch price starts at $1,999 and $3,099 for the M2 Pro 16GB 512GB and M2 Max 32GB RAM 1TB models respectively.
The MacBook Pro 16-inch price starts at $2,499 and $3,499 for the M2 Pro 16GB 512GB and M2 Max 32GB RAM and 1TB models respectively.
You can configure the duo with different CPU, GPU, memory, and storage options through the Apple online store but it will cost more money.
