The popular messaging app WhatsApp by meta is coming up with a new feature, granting admins the power to delete messages sent in the group chat.
The features were first speculated last year and now, the update was spotted on wabetainfo as they put to their Twitter page.
If you are a group admin, you will be able to delete any message for everyone in your groups, in a future update of WhatsApp beta for Android. A good moderation, finally. #WhatsApp
This update will be finally available to all Android and ios users and the brain behind the update is to give group admins more admin privileges to moderate the group chats.
When the admins delete a message from the group chat, there will be an indicator showing “This message was removed by the admin”
What a good update coming to WhatsApp soon, it will be available on the next WhatsApp beta versions.
