Vivo has launched the vivo Y32 which is the first smartphone to be powered by the newly announced Snapdragon 680 chipset. The vivo Y32 comes as the successor to the previous Y31 that was launched earlier this year in January. In this article, we’ll go through the vivo Y32 price, specifications, and features. The vivo Y32 is priced at CNY 1,399 (≈€195 or $220) in China and it is available in two different colors. Vivo has not revealed the official sake date for the phone yet but we expect it to be soon. Also, there’s no information on international availability yet.

Upfront, the vivo Y32 sports a 6.51 inches IPS LCD display that has an HD+ resolution and a 60 Hz refresh rate. The display has the now out-of-trend waterdrop notch that helps to house the 8MP selfie camera.

On the rear, the vivo Y32 has a dual-camera setup in a rectangular bump that features a 13MP main camera alongside a 2MP macro camera for close-ups.

Under the hood, the vivo Y32 is powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 (6nm) SoC which has a max clock speed of 2.4 GHz coupled with the Adreno 610 GPU. It is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The storage can be expanded by up to 1TB thanks to the micro SD card slot. You can also expand the RAM virtually by up to 4GB thanks to a new software feature.
The phone runs on OriginOS 1.0 based on Android 11.

On the inside, the vivo Y32 is packed with a 5,000 mAh battery that has support for 17W fast charging via its USB-C port. Vivo says this battery can last for up to 13 hours of gaming or video playback.

As for connectivity, the phone comes with 4G LTE support, Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Wi-Fi Direct, and OTG. For navigation, it has GPS, BeiDou, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS.
Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, face unlock, 3.5 mm headphone jack, Game Box 10.0, and Multi-Turbo 5.5.
