vivo Y76s 5G launched with 50MP camera, 44W charging, Dimensity 810 & more


Some days back, vivo launched the vivo Y15s, an entry-level budget smartphone, and now, they have launched the vivo Y76s 5G, a mid-range smartphone with 5G connectivity. The vivo Y76s 5G comes with a host of other amazing specs and features that will be discussed in this article. Without further ado, let’s go the vivo Y76s 5G specs and price.

The vivo Y76s 5G is priced at CNY 1,799 ($280 or €240) and CNY 1,999 ($310 or €265) for the base 8GB 128GB model and upgraded 8GB 256GB model respectively. It is available in three different colors which are White, Blue, and Black. Presently, it is only available in China with no word on availability in global markets.

The vivo Y76s 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G (6nm) chipset coupled with the Mali G57 MC2 GPU. Its 5G network support is thanks to this chipset. The phone has a 5-layer liquid cooling system so the phone doesn’t get hot during heavy use. The phone has 8GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card. Also, you can extend the RAM virtually by up to 4GB thanks to a new software feature. Speaking of software, the vivo Y76s 5G runs on Android 11 with Origin OS 1.0 skin on top.


Upfront, the vivo Y76s 5G packs a fairly large 6.58-inch IPS LCD display that has a FHD+ resolution and 401 PPI density. It has a 180Hz touch sampling rate but the refresh rate is still at 60Hz. The screen has minimal bezels around it with a waterdrop notch at the top.
The phone comes in a nice and sleek body with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.


The vivo Y76s 5G has a dual rear camera setup that features a 50MP camera with f/1.8 aperture alongside a 2MP macro camera for close-ups. The selfie camera is an 8MP sensor with an f/2.0 aperture. Both the rear and selfie cameras can record 1080p videos at 30 fps. As a plus, it supports video stabilization and can record video with the front and rear cameras simultaneously.


Backing this mid-range 5G smartphone is a 4,100 mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging via its USB-C port. vivo says this charging speed can take the phone from 0% to 70% in just 34 minutes of charging.
As for connectivity, it comes with support for Wi-Fi 5, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and OTG. It has a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
