Rocket League Sideswipe is the mobile version of the extremely popular Rocket League that is available on PC and consoles. This mobile version is from Psyonix, a game developer owned by the popular Epic Games. Rocket League Sideswipe is now released worldwide on both iOS and Android. The game is fairly huge in size as it is around 700MB to 1GB depending on your operating system and device. The game is also available for free. The game is available on both the App Store and Play Store.

Rocket League Sideswipe Gameplay
The mobile version is still similar to the standard version available on PC and consoles. Rocket League Sideswipe is based on the same fundamental concept of “football but with cars”. In which you have to steer your car to shoot the ball through the enemy’s goalpost.
However, the mobile version still has some differences when compared to the standard version. In the standard version, the game occurs in a 3D environment with full 360-degree movement and complete control of the camera. On the other hand, Rocket League Sideswipe occurs in a 2D environment with 3D elements so you have to control your car on two axes. This makes the game very simple and perfectly suited for smartphones which have limited touch controls.
In this mobile version, you have the choice to play against one person or play as a team of two players against two other players. Like most online games, Rocket League Sideswipe automatically does the match making and helps you find the remaining players. Once in the game, your objective is to score the most amount of goals.
As for controls, there is a left joystick to control your car’s direction. There are also other controls on the screen to boost your speed as well as performing single or double jump. Using these controls, you can shoot the ball through the enemy’s goalpost.
There are lots of customization available for your cars so you personalize your own car.
After playing the game for a while, I can say that Rocket League Sideswipe is a very impressive game with lots of action-packed moments and a nice soundtrack.
