Oppo A95 launched with Snapdragon 662, 48MP cameras, and 33W fast charging


Many months after the launch of the Oppo A95 5G, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has decided to launch the vanilla LTE version which is the Oppo A95. It comes with some similar design features as its 5G sibling but has very different hardware & software specifications. Without further ado, let’s go through the Oppo A95 specs and price.


Oppo A95 Price and Availability

As of now, the Oppo A95 is only available in Malaysia and it is priced at MYR 1,099 which is equivalent to $264. It can be purchased via Oppo’s official website and other retail partners. There are not many color options as it comes in Glowing Starry Black and Glowing Rainbow Silver colors.


Oppo A95 Specs

The Oppo A95 sports a 6.43 inches AMOLED display that has a FHD+ resolution with a 60 Hz refresh rate and up to 180 Hz touch sampling rate. The screen covers 92% of the DCI P3 wide color gamut and 100% sRGB color space. As for brightness, it can go up to 800 nits in some scenarios.
This phone has an optical in-display fingerprint sensor alongside face unlock for biometric authentication.


As for the camera, there’s a 16MP selfie camera fitted in the punch-hole cutout at the top left corner. On the rear, is a triple camera setup that features a 48MP main camera with f/1.7 aperture alongside two 2MP macro and depth cameras. As for the video, the rear and selfie camera can record videos at up to 1080p at 30 fps.


The processor on the Oppo A95 is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC clocked at up 2.0 GHz coupled with the Adreno 610 GPU at up to 950 MHZ. It comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage with support for external storage. Also, the RAM can be virtually extended by up to 5GB using the internal storage thanks to a new software feature. The A95 comes running on Android 11 with Color OS 11.1 skin on top.


Backing the Oppo A95 is a huge 5,000 mAh non-removable battery with support for 33W fast charging via its USB Type C port.


As for connectivity, it comes with dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5.0, OTG, and GPS. It also has a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
