vivo has launched the vivo Y50t, an affordable mid-range smartphone in China and it comes with nice specifications and features. The vivo Y50t is very similar to the vivo Y70t but it just lacks 5G support as a result of the processor Vivo decided to use. The vivo Y50t is priced at CNY 1,399 (≈$220 or €190). As the title states, it is currently available in China only and can be purchased via the official store, as well as third-party stores.

The vivo Y50t is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G (8nm) chipset which has a max clock speed of 2.3 GHz coupled with the Adreno 618 GPU. It comes running on Android 10 with Oxygen OS out of the box which is quite outdated at this point.
The phone comes with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage with a micro SD card slot for expanding the storage. The RAM can be virtually increased by up to 4GB with the artificial Fusion feature that uses some of the free internal storage.
Upfront, the vivo Y50t sports a 6.53 inches IPS LCD display that has a FHD+ resolution with a 60 Hz refresh rate and 120 Hz touch sampling rate. The screen has a punch-hole cutout at the top left corner which houses the 8MP selfie camera.
There is a triple camera setup on the rear that features a 48MP main camera alongside two 2MP depth and macro cameras. It can record videos at 4K 30 fps and 1080p at 30 or 60 fps.
Backing the vivo Y50t is a 4,500 mAh non-removable battery that has support for 18W fast charging via its micro USB port.
It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner alongside face unlock for biometric authentication.
As for connectivity, it comes with support for Bluetooth 5.1, dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Wi-Fi Direct, GPS, and OTG. It has a 3.5 mm headphone jack so you don’t need a dongle.
