Lava is an Indian multinational technology company that is specialized in making smartphones, laptops, computer hardware, and consumer electronics. Today, Lava just launched the Lava Agni 5G which it calls the “first Indian 5G smartphone”. In this article, the Lava Agni 5G will be discussed as we’ll go through its specifications, features, and price. Without wasting much of our time, let’s get right into it.

Originally, the Lava Agni 5G is priced at INR20,000 which is equivalent to $270 or €235, but it is currently priced at INR18,000 during this pre-booking period. The 5G smartphone will be available starting from November 18 and can be purchased on Lava’s official online store as well as Amazon.

The Lava Agni 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G (6nm) SoC with two Cortex-A76 cores and six Cortex-A55 cores coupled with the Mali G57 MC2 GPU. Its 5G support is thanks to this chipset. It comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage with a micro SD slot for expanding the storage. The phone runs on Stock Android 11 straight out of the box.

The display on the Lava Agni 5G is a large 6.78-inches IPS LCD that has a 1080p resolution with a 90 Hz refresh rate and is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It comes in a nice body which is available in only one color: Fiery Blue.
It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric security alongside face unlock.

On the rear, the Lava Agni 5G has a quad-camera setup that has a 64MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture, a 5MP ultrawide camera, and two 2MP macro and depth cameras. The front-facing camera is a 16MP sensor that is fitted in the punch-hole cutout at the top of the screen.

Another big feature of this phone is its battery, the Lava Agni 5G comes with a 5,000 mAh non-removable battery. When it runs down, it charges fast at 30W speeds using the charger included in the box.
As for connectivity, it has support for 5G networks (both SA and NSA), Wi-Fi 5, GPS, FM radio, and Bluetooth 5.1. As an addition, it has a 3.5 mm headphone jack so you don’t need a dongle.
