Redmi is a sub-brand under Xiaomi, and under it, we have seen lots of really affordable phones from the Note to the A series. Now, Xiaomi has launched the Redmi A3 and it is packed with good specs which makes it good value for money.

Xiaomi Redmi A3 Features
Surprisingly, the Redmi A3 is well-designed and that is not something I expect of an ultra-affordable smartphone. The phone comes with a leather-like finish on the rear, and it has flat edges with a sleek profile.
Upfront, you’re greeted by a 6.71-inch IPS LCD display that has an HD+ resolution with a 90Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, the Redmi A3 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G36 SoC which is the same as its predecessor.

Xiaomi switched things up by increasing the RAM options; 3GB, 4GB, or 6GB is now available. The storage options remain the same with either 64GB or 128GB, and there is a micro SD card slot.
The increment in RAM now allows Xiaomi to send the phone out with a full-fledged Android 14 OS.
As for the cameras, there is a 5MP selfie camera in the waterdrop notch. On the rear, an 8MP main camera is paired with an unnamed secondary camera.

On the inside, the Redmi A3 is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery. There is no fast charging, as it maxes out at just 10W via its USB-C port.
The phone has a fingerprint sensor embedded in the power button for seamless biometric authentication.
