On January 17th at its Galaxy unpacked event, Samsung introduced the latest additions to its flagship Samsung Galaxy S24, S24+ and S24 ultra. The S24 series is not in any way different from the S23 series, except for a few improvements to the designs, software support and AI integrations.

Samsung S24 series remains true to its designs, slight changes that suffice are the less rounded mid-frame and a flatter display very similar to the iPhone.
On the Display, the Samsung Galaxy S24 has a 6.2-inch AMOLED, FHD+ resolution While S24+ feature 6.7-inch AMOLED QHD+ resolutions with an adaptive refresh rate between 1Hz to 120Hz with a 2,600nits peak brightness
On the camera side, The S24 and S24+ feature a 50MP main (f/1.8 lens with OIS) a 12MP ultra wide (120⁰) and a 10MP tele camera with 3x zoom (f/2.4) while the front camera has 12MP sensor (f/2.2 80⁰ lens)
Coming down to the processor, S24 and S24+ series feature the Snapdragon 8 gen 3 in selected regions while other regions (global) will use the new Samsung Exynos 2400 processor. The S24+ configuration has 12GB of ram similar to the ultra with 256 or 512 GB storage while the S24 maintains 8GB RAM and 128 GB only
The S24 house a whopping battery of 4000mah limited to 25w wired and 15w wireless charging while the S24+ came with an upgrade of 4900mah battery with 45w wired and 15w wireless with Qi charging.
The Samsung S24 series came with one UI 6.1 based on Android 14 and will receive 7 generations of OS updates and 7 years of security patches, they will be getting support into the 2030s!
