Apple also made the iPhone 8 offer wireless charging for the first time so it would work with Qi wireless chargers. The battery promises up to 14 hours talk time and 40 hours music play time.

The iPhone 8 runs on iOS 11 out of the box and is upgradeable to iOS 13.5.
