Design and Body
The Umidigi X comes with a premium look and build with an ultra-slim design. The rear is made from glass which has a gradient pattern. It is available in two color options which are flame black and breathing crystal. The phone comes in at 196 grams of weight and it has a thickness of 8.1 mm despite its battery size.

The display on the X is a 6.35 inches AMOLED with a resolution of 720 x 1548 pixels and about 289 pixels per inch density with an aspect ratio of 19.35 by 9. It has a waterdrop notch at the top center which allows for a full view experience with minimal obstructions. Beneath the display, is an optical fingerprint scanner for biometric security.

Powering the Umidigi X is an octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 (12nm) SoC which has a maximum clock speed of 2.0 GHz coupled with the Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. It comes with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of internal storage with micro SD card support for expanding the storage when needed.

On the rear, is a triple camera setup that features a 48MP main camera with Auto Focus, an 8MP ultrawide camera for a wider view, and a 5MP depth camera for bokeh effects. The rear and front camera can record either 1080p or 720p videos at 30 fps.

Battery and Charging
The battery on the Umidigi X is a massive Li-Po 4,150 mAh, which is not user-replaceable. As for charging, it has support for 18W fast charging via its USB Type C port. Although, it doesn’t support wireless charging which is not a deal-breaker considering its price.
