Umidigi F1 Play is the updated and more premium version of the Umidigi F1 that was released some months back by Umidigi. It comes with some nice improvements over its predecessor like an improved rear camera system and a larger RAM. The Umidigi F1 Play sports a 6.3 inches IPS LCD with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and 409 PPI density with a 19.4 by 9 aspect ratio. The display has the fancy waterdrop notch at the top center which allows for more screen real estate.
Design and Body
The design of the Umidigi F1 Play is mesmerizing, it comes with nice color options, like Black and Red. The build quality is good enough, it comes in a metal body with rubber-like material over it which gives it more grip and durability. It has a thickness of 8.8 mm and weighs 193 grams. The fingerprint scanner is situated at the rear.
Processor and Memory
Umidigi F1 Play is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 (12nm) SoC which has a maximum clock speed of 2.0 GHz coupled with the Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. It comes with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage with a hybrid micro SD card slot.
On the rear, is a dual-camera setup that features a 48MP camera with f/1.7 aperture and an 8MP depth camera for portrait effects. It can record 1080p and 720p videos at 30 fps. On the front, is a 16MP selfie camera tucked in the waterdrop notch. Also, the selfie camera is used for face recognition.

Umidigi F1 Play is backed by a huge 5,150 mAh non-removable Li-Po battery. When it comes to charging, it has support for 18W fast charging which helps reduce charging time.

The Umidigi F1 Play supports most global network bands so you can use it with most network carriers anywhere in the world. It comes with dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, full-featured NFC, and FM radio. Also, it has a USB 2.0 type C port with OTG support for charging and data transfer.
On the software side, the F1 Play comes running on Android 9 Pie straight out of the box.
