Infinix has finally launched the Infinix S5, a new budget-to-midrange smartphone. It is the successor to the previous Infinix Hot S4 that was launched some months back. The Infinix S5 sports a large 6.6 inches IPS LCD with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and 270 pixels per inch density. It has a punch hole at the top left corner similar to what we saw on the Samsung Galaxy S10 series.

The design of the Infinix S5 is something spectacular and amazing when comparing it to other Infinix smartphones. It comes in a nice polycarbonate body with textured patterns. It comes in at 178 grams and has a thickness of 7.9 mm. The rear houses the quad cameras, a LED flash, a fingerprint sensor, and Infinix’s branding.
Processor and Memory
Infinix S5 is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 (12nm) SoC which has a maximum clock speed of 2.0 GHz coupled with PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It comes with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM and either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage with micro SD card support.
Camera
Coming to the camera which is one of Infinix’s top highlights of this phone, the S5 has a quad rear camera setup and a single selfie camera.
The quad rear camera features a 16MP main camera, a 5MP ultrawide camera, a 2MP depth camera, and an AI lens (probably a gimmick). It can record videos at up to 1080p at 30 fps.
