Design and Body
The design of the LG G7 ThinQ shows that it is a premium smartphone even after 2 years. It has a glass/aluminium build with the state of art Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the back and front. It is a bit compact as it has a thickness of 7.9 mm and weighs 162 grams. You’d find the dual cameras and a fingerprint sensor at the rear. There is a dedicated Google Assistant button on the left side.

Upfront, there is the 6.1 inches IPS LCD display with a QHD+ resolution of 1440×3120 pixels and 564 PPI density. The display features Dolby Vision and supports HDR10. It has the always-on display feature which displays useful info. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
Processor and Memory
LG G7 ThinQ is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset which has a maximum clock speed of 2.8 GHz. It is coupled with Adreno 630 GPU. The Snapdragon 845 was Qualcomm most powerful chip in 2018 and it still performs great in 2020.
The phone comes with 4GB or 6GB of RAM for efficient multitasking and either 64GB or 128GB built-in storage. It has a dedicated micro SD card slot for expanding the storage.

Coming to the camera department, there is a dual rear camera setup which features a 16MP main camera and a 16MP ultrawide camera for a wider view. The cameras have Optical Image Stabilization, PDAF and Laser AF. The rear cameras can record 4K videos up to 60 fps & 1080p videos up to 60 fps.
Up in the notch, there is a single 8 megapixels camera for taking selfies and video calls.

The LG G7 ThinQ has support for 4G LTE network which lets you access high internet speeds. It supports Gigabit LTE class so you can reach up to 1Gbps when downloading. On the spec sheet, the battery capacity is somewhat on the low side. It has a 3,000 mAh non-removable Li-Po battery. When the battery gets low, the 18W fast charging lets you fill it up in no time. It also supports wireless charging in some regions.
