Design and Body

The Infinix Zero 5 Pro has very similar looks as the less premium variant, the Infinix Zero 5, you’ll barely find any difference in their looks and appearance. The phone has an aluminium frame and aluminium back with the scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass 3 at the front. I guess the only difference between the Zero 5 and the Pro variant is that the Pro variant is available in bronze colour. The phone has a thickness of 8 mm which is quite slim and weighs 197 grams.

The display here is the same as the Zero 5. Infinix Zero 5 Pro features a 5.98 inches IPS LCD display with a FHD resolution of 1080×1920 pixels and 368 PPI density. Processor and Memory

The processor on this smartphone it’s quite good but I expected something better. The Infinix Zero 5 Pro is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P20 processor which features 4 cores clocked at 2.6 GHz and 4 cores clocked at 1.4 GHz. The phone performance is expected to be same as the Zero 5. The phone utilises Mali T880 MP2 GPU for gaming and graphics-related activities.
The phone comes with 6GB of RAM just like the less premium variant and 128GB built-in storage with a micro SD card slot.

Camera

There’s a dual rear camera on this phone which features a 12MP Sony IMX386 sensor and a 13MP telephoto camera which gives 2X zoom. The rear camera features HDR, LED flash and Panorama and can record 1080p videos at 30 fps. Infinix says this phone is perfect for capturing superior quality images, even in portrait mode.
At the front, we have a 16MP camera for taking nice selfies. The front camera has a LED flash which helps in low light situations.

Network and Connectivity

The Infinix flagship smartphone has support for 4G LTE network do you will enjoy fast internet speeds when downloading, browsing and uploading. The phone supports the following 4G bands: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 20, 28, 38, 40.

Battery and Charging

The Infinix Zero 5 Pro is backed by a 4,350 mAh non-removable Li-Ion battery. The phone is huge and should last you for more than a day. There’s no official information stating whether it supports fast charging.

Software

The Infinix Zero 5 Pro runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with Infinix own XOS 3.0 skin on top.

Other Features

The phone has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor at the back for securing the device from unauthorised access.

Infinix Zero 5 Pro Review in 2020

The Infinix Zero 5 Pro is not a good device in 2020, almost all its specs and features are now outdated and obsolete. It doesn’t even have the latest software so you’ll have issues with apps that require the latest software version. There are tons of phone in the same price range with the Zero 5 Pro now that are better and newer than it.
