Design and Body
The design on the Samsung Galaxy J6 Plus is quite simple but attractive and classy. The phone has a plastic body but Samsung made the back plastic have a glassy look and reflective. The rear of the phone houses the dual camera and a LED flash with “Samsung” logo below them. The phone is quite slim and light with it having a thickness of 7.9 mm and weighing 178 grams respectively. At the right side of the phone, there’s a fingerprint sensor for unlocking the device.

Display
The Samsung Galaxy J6+ has a 6.0 inches IPS LCD display with a 720p resolution and 279 pixels per inch density. The phone doesn’t come with Samsung signature Super AMOLED display, I guess using the LCD display is a way to cut costs. The phone has minimal bezels at the top and bottom thanks to the 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The resolution is low on this phone so don’t expect the crisp and clear display you’re used to on 1080p+ panels.

Processor and Memory
The phone comes with a decent budget grade processor which should perform well. The Galaxy J6 Plus is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset with a maximum clock speed of 1.4 GHz coupled with Adreno 308 GPU for all graphics-related activities.
The mid-range smartphone comes with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM and either 32GB or 64GB built-in storage with a dedicated micro SD card slot for expanding the storage. The configurations are 32GB 3GB RAM and 64GB 4GB RAM.

Camera
The Samsung Galaxy J6+ comes with a dual rear camera which features a 13MP wide camera sensor with f/1.9 aperture and a 5MP depth camera which gives bokeh effects. The rear camera can record 1080p videos at 30 fps.
At the front, we have a 8MP front-facing camera for taking nice selfies. There’s a LED flash at the front which helps in low light situations.
Network and Connectivity
The Galaxy J6 Plus has support for 4G LTE network which gives you access to fast blazing internet speeds of up to 150 Mbps when downloading and surfing the web. The phone has support for the following 4G bands: 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 20, 38, 40, 41.
The phone comes with Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi, WiFi Direct, GPS, NFC and WiFi hotspot. The phone has a micro USB 2.0 port which supports OTG feature.
Battery and Charging
The Samsung Galaxy J6 Plus comes with a 3,300 mAh non-removable Li-Ion battery. The battery is not very huge but is expected to last you throughout the day. There’s no official information stating whether the phone supports fast charging.
Software
The Samsung Galaxy J6+ runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with Samsung Experience UI and is upgradeable to Android 9 Pie with One UI skin on top.
Samsung Galaxy J6 Plus Review in 2020
The Samsung Galaxy J6 Plus is not worth buying in 2020 as it has lots of outdated and obsolete features, the processor in it won’t run heavy apps and games well. At the price you’ll want to buy the Galaxy J6+ there are other better and newer smartphones.
