Infinix is a Hong-Kong based technology company known for making smartphones, smart accessories, televisions, laptops, and other consumer electronics. Infinix has built its name around being the go-to brand if someone is on a tight budget and wants to get a budget-friendly smartphone or accessories. This has worked for the company as in many regions, they are now a big force in the smartphone market because of the affordability of their products. Infinix Mobile has launched the Infinix Zero X Neo as one of the latest additions to the Zero series.
The Infinix Zero X Neo was launched alongside its two siblings, the Infinix Zero X and Infinix Zero X Pro. The Zero X Neo is the least premium out of the bunch as Infinix decided to water down some of the specs seen on the Zero X and its Pro sibling. This makes the Zero X Neo to also be the most affordable out of the three smartphones.
The Infinix Zero X Neo comes in as a lower mid-range smartphone with a decent processor, a big battery, and a good enough camera amongst others. The phone is one of the top options to consider in its price point which is a good thing.
When compared to its siblings, there are some noticable downgrades but that is expected as it is the cheapest out of the bunch.
In this article, I’ll be sharing with you the Infinix Zero X Neo specs and price as well as everything else you need to know about this lovely smartphone. Without wasting much of our time, let us get right into today’s article.

The phone’s display also has a 90Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling rate so it is smooth and fluid while gaming and scrolling.
The screen has a tiny punch-hole cutout at the top center which houses the selfie camera. There are small bezels around the sides except for the bottom chin which is quite noticable. Also, the screen has a TÜV Rheinland Eye Comfort certification so you’re sure harmful blue light is not going to be a problem.
As for protection, there is no official information stating if there is one applied so I’ll say you should get a tempered glass screen protector to prevent scratches and easy damage.
Design and Body
As for design, the Infinix Zero X Neo is not lacking as it is aesthetically pleasing to the eyes and it is also quite unique in the market filled with lookalike smartphones. It is easily one of the best-looking smartphones in the lower mid-range section.
The phone comes in a nice body with curved sides as opposed to the flat sides seen on its more expensive siblings. The phone has a thickness of 8.8 mm and comes in at 212 grams of weight, which makes the phone a bit bulky but it’s no surprise considering the massive battery in it.
On the rear, there is a rectangular bump at the top left housing the triple camera setup and an LED flash with Infinix’s branding being at the bottom left.
On the sides, there is the volume rocker and the power button which also doubles as a fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.
As for color options, the phone is available in three colors: Nebula Black, Starry Silver, and Bahamas Blue. The Nebula Black color is said to be inspired by the toughest elements in outer space. The Starry Silver color is said to be inspired by the milky way and starry night. The Bahamas Blue is said to be inspired by the beauty and flow of the Ocean.
Processor and Memory
Under the hood, the Infinix Zero X Neo draws its power from the gaming-centric MediaTek Helio G95 chipset. The octa-core chipset has two Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.05 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz.
The chipset is coupled with the Mali G76 MC2 GPU. To offer stellar performance, the phone comes with a Heat Pipe Thermal Module 2.0 3-D Cooling Master and Game Booster Dar-link 2.0.
The processor is coupled with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of fast UFS 2.2 internal storage with a dedicated micro SD card slot for expanding the storage. There is support for an additional 3GB of RAM via Memory Fusion Technology 2.0.
On the software front, the Infinix Zero X Neo comes running on Android 11 with XOS 7.6 skin on top.
The Infinix Zero X Neo comes with a triple rear camera setup that features a 48MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP periscope telephoto camera with f/3.4 aperture, and a 2MP depth camera.
The periscope telephoto has Optical Image Stabilization, it allows for 5X optical zoom and 60X hybrid zoom.
On the front, there is a 16MP camera for all your selfie and video chat needs. It is situated in the tiny punch-hole cutout and has a dual-LED flashlight to help out in dark situations.
As for video recording, the rear camera can record videos in up to 4K resolution at 30 frames per second while the selfie camera can only record in 1080p resolution at 30 fps.
