Gionee F6 is another budget smartphone with quite a number of good features manufactured by Gionee. The smartphone has very similar looks like the Gionee S11 and Gionee S11s but a bit watered down specs. Join me as we unravel the specs and features of this phone.

Design and Body
The Gionee F6 design appears to be sleek and modern, the almost bezel-less display gives it a more premium look. The phone is made from an aluminium alloy which is more durable and fashionable as opposed to plastic. At the back of the phone, you’d find a fingerprint sensor for unlocking the device.
Overall, the Gionee F6 has great and attractive looks that most budget smartphones do not have.
Display
The display of this smartphone is not so fantabulous but it’s very okay for a budget smartphone. The Gionee F6 sports a 5.7 inches IPS LCD display with an HD+ resolution of 720×1440 pixels and 282 pixels per inch density. Being an HD+ display, don’t expect a crisp, sharp and clear display as a flagship.
Processor and Memory
As for the processor, we have a pretty decent one that should provide a smooth performance good enough for a budget smartphone. Gionee F6 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 chipset which has a maximum clock speed of 1.4 GHz coupled with Adreno 505 GPU for gaming and graphics-related activities. The budget smartphone comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB built-in storage which can be expanded using a micro SD card.
Camera
The Gionee F6 has a dual rear camera setup which features a 13MP and 2MP camera. The dual cameras are expected to give a better bokeh effect when taking photos. The rear cameras can record 1080p videos at 30 fps.
On the front, we have an 8MP camera with a LED flash which takes good selfies.
Network and Connectivity
Gionee F6 has support for 4G LTE network which gives you access to fast blazing internet speeds when downloading, browsing and uploading. It comes with support for the following 4G bands LTE: 850 / 900 / 1800 / 2100 / 2600 MHz LTE-TDD: 1900 MHz (Band 39), 2300 MHz (Band 40), 2500 MHz (Band 41), 2600 MHz (Band 38).
The phone comes with Bluetooth 4.0 A2DP, WiFi, WiFi Direct, WiFi Display, GPS and WLAN hotspot. It has a micro USB 2.0 port which supports OTG (On The Go) feature.
Battery and Charging
Gionee F6 comes with a 2,970 mAh non-removable Li-Po battery. Although the battery is not huge, it should be able to last you a whole day if you’re an average user. As for charging, there’s no official information stating if it has support for fast charging.
Software
Gionee F6 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with Gionee own Amigo 5.0 UI on top.
Final Verdict
In 2020, the Gionee F6 doesn’t seem to be a good smartphone again and is not worth buying. It comes with a lot of outdated features that are no longer good in 2020.
