Vivo Y100 5G Features
Upfront, we are greeted by a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display that uses a 10-bit panel so it can show up to 1B colors. The display has a 120Hz high refresh rate, and it can reach up to 1200 nits at peak brightness.
On the inside, the Vivo Y100 5G draws its power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 6 which is a good enough mid-range smartphone.
The phone comes with 8GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of fast UFS 2.2 internal storage. Unfortunately, there is no micro SD card slot nor a 3.5 mm headphone jack which is unexpected from a mid-ranger.
The Vivo Y100 5G comes with a triple rear camera setup that features a 50MP wide sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a flicker sensor. On the front, there is an 8MP camera for all your selfie needs.
The phone comes with a 5,000 mAh battery, and Vivo decided to step things with it by adding support for 80W fast charging. It is advertised to go from 1% to 45% in just 15 minutes of charging.
There is an optical fingerprint sensor beneath the display for biometric authentication, and it comes with IP54 certification.
The color options on the Vivo Y100 5G are a bit limited as you can either get it in Purple or Black.
