Many Android manufacturers allow you to create a second version of an app so you can have two accounts on one phone. This feature is known as a dual messenger or parallel app. Given that WhatsApp doesn’t accept multiple accounts, this is especially useful. Thankfully, the Meta-owned platform is developing this capability.

A beta version (2.23.13.5) of the WhatsApp Business app has multiple account capability, according to the WhatsApp-tracking website WABetaInfo. The source also claimed that the feature would work with WhatsApp’s primary client. Please look at the screenshot of the account selection option they provided below.

Beyond this apparent account-switching menu, it’s still being determined how this functionality will function, but Telegram has long supported multiple accounts. Telegram’s implementation enables seamless account switching, though you continue to receive alerts from the previous account. In light of this, we question how it would function if you used a personal and business WhatsApp account.
However, this could be useful if you have two personal phone numbers or a second WhatsApp account for work-related purposes.
