A few weeks ago, the Samsung Galaxy Book2 Go was launched but then, it was only an LTE version that was available. Now, Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy Book2 Go with 5G connectivity.

This is made possible by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c+Gen 3 which brings 5G connectivity. It is the same chipset in the LTE version of the laptop but seems Samsung didn’t fancy adding 5G when it was unveiled.



In this article, I’ll share everything you need to know about the newly launched Samsung Galaxy Book2 Go 5G. Let’s get right into it.

Samsung Galaxy Book2 Go 5G Features

The Samsung Galaxy Book2 Go is a slim and light laptop that falls under the Windows on ARM program.

The laptop is powered by the Snapdragon 7c+ Gen 3 which was launched more than a year ago. This chipset is a great option for entry-level laptops, you can read everything you need to know about it here.

As for memory and storage, there are two configurations for the Galaxy Book2 Go 5G: 4GB RAM + 128GB UFS storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB UFS storage. There is a micro SD card slot for expanding the storage.

The Galaxy Book2 Go has a 14-inch IPS LCD display that has a 1080p resolution. It has a 3 by 2 aspect ratio which is more productive as you can see more content. The hinge only allows the screen to rotate 180°.

The build quality of the laptop is fantastic as it is MIL-STD-810H certified. The body comes in at 1.44kg of weight with a thickness of just 15.5mm.

As for connectivity, the Samsung Galaxy Book2 Go comes with support for 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.2. For 5G connections, it supports the sub-6GHz bands. The laptop supports dual SIM, one being a physical SIM and the other being an eSIM. It has two USB-C ports with one USB-A 2.0 port and a 3.5mm headphone/mic combo jack.
There is also an HD Webcam at the top of the display so it can be used for video conferencing.

The laptop runs on the latest Windows 11 Home straight out of the box. It supports x86 apps so all old Windows apps still work.

On the inside, the Samsung Galaxy Book2 Go is backed by a 42.3Wh battery. It comes with a 45W power adapter for charging when the battery eventually runs low.

Samsung exclusive features like Easy Buds Connection, Second Screen, Quick Share, and Galaxy Book Smart Switch are available.

Samsung Galaxy Book2 Go 5G Price and Availability

The Samsung Galaxy Book2 Go 5G price starts at £650 for the 4GB 128GB model and it goes up to £750 for the 8GB 256GB model. It will be available through Samsung.com and other approved stores from the end of January 2023.
