Mobvoi confirms impending TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra launch with Wear OS 2.02

The smartwatch market has been a very competitive place for the past few years with Apple and Samsung being at the top of the game with their Apple Watch and Galaxy Watch. Mobvoi may not be a name that rings a bell in your head but they have been a company that has made lots of progress in the extremely competitive market. Mobvoi launched the TicWatch Pro 3 around September of last year and it has been one of the best Android smartwatches out there.

Recently, Mobvoi confirmed the launch of the TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra which is a great upgrade to the TicWatch Pro 3.



The Mobvoi TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra official announcement is scheduled for 6 AM PDT next Wednesday, October 13.

The TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra smartwatch is said to come with the newest Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100+ processor. This new processor is expected to offer improved performance over the already fast Snapdragon Wear 4100 processor that was in the TicWatch Pro 3 GPS. The TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra also comes with improved fitness and health monitoring.
One thing to note is that the TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra will run on the old Wear OS 2.0 and will not likely get Wear OS 3.0 update very soon.

At launch, the TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra will come in a GPS-only variant and the price is expected to start at the same $300 as its predecessor.
