Design and Body
The Tecno Camon X Pro has very similar looks as the Tecno Camon X, it’s non premium variant. It has a length of 158 mm, a width of 75.2 mm, a thickness of 7.8 mm and weighs about 148 grams which makes it very easy to hold in the hands. Tecno Camon X Pro still comes in a polycarbonate body with the camera and flash arranged horizontally at the top left corner. It comes in two colour variants which is the Midnight Black and Bordeaux Red respectively. All in all, overall build looks quite modern with solid ergonomics.
Display
Tecno Camon X Pro sports a 6.0 inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080×2160 pixels and a 402 pixel per inch density. The phone has an 18:9 aspect ratio with reduced bezels at the top and bottom which allows more screen space in a relatively small body.

Under the hood, Tecno Camon X Pro is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio P23 which has a maximum clock speed of 2.0 GHz. The processor is built on a 16nm fabrication process which is power efficient so I guess the battery will last longer. The processor is coupled with Mali G71 MP2 for graphics related activities. The Camon X Pro comes with 4GB RAM which is large for smooth performance and multitasking. The phone also comes with 64GB built-in storage with a micro SD card slot for expanding storage.
Camera
Coming to the camera, Tecno Camon X Pro has a 24 megapixels front facing camera which also has a LED flash for taking shots in low light environment. The front camera also helps for the Face ID feature that allows you conveniently unlock your phone with your face.
At the rear, you get a 16 megapixels camera with LED flash which can record 1080p videos at 30 frames per second.
You also have a portrait mode on both cameras which blurs the background (bokeh effect) making the picture cleaner and beautiful.
