Design and Body

I’m sure you must have noticed there’s a great change in the design of the iPhone X compared to past iPhones. The almost bezel-less display, glass design of the iPhone X is very impressive and special.
You may be surprised to learn that the iPhone X has a smaller body than the iPhone 8 Plus despite it having a larger 5·8 inches display, but the iPhone X loses the upper bezels, physical home button along side it’s fingerprint sensor which gives more space for the display.

Apple uses OLED display on the iPhone X, and it’s the first iPhone to offer such. iPhone X has a 5·8 inches Super Retina OLED display with a resolution of 1125×2436 pixels, 19·5:9 aspect ratio, 82·9% screen to body ratio and 458 ppi density. The screen uses a scratch resistant glass and has oleophobic coating. This display supports HDR10 and has Wide color gamut, 3D touch, Dolby Vision, True tone and 120Hz touch sensing.

Processor and Memory

Apple latest A11 bionic chipset is the one powering the iPhone X. The A11 bionic chipset is said to be more powerful than the ones in iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. The processor is built on a 10nm fabrication process which will be power efficient. The processor has Apple GPU which will handle all games smoothly.
The iPhone X comes with 3GB RAM and either 64GB or 256GB of internal storage. It has no card slot for expanding storage as usual.


iPhone X offers you improved 12MP dual-lens camera on the rear – one wide-angle lens and one telephoto lens. Both come with optical image stabilisation (OIS) for a promise of superb shots. The sensors are faster and larger. The camera can record 4K at 24/30/60 fps and 1080p HD videos at 30/ 60/ 120/ 240 fps.

The iPhone X has 4G/3G/2G network in it. It supports the following LTE bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 28, 29, 30, 34, 38, 39, 40, 41, 66. It has download speed of up to 600 Mbps and upload speed of up to 150 Mbps.

Battery and Charging

iPhone X comes with a non removable Li-Ion 2716 mAh battery. Apple claims that the iPhone X battery will 2 hours more than iPhone 7.
Talking about charging, iPhone X has support for 15W fast charge which takes the phone to 50% in just 30 minutes. It hasu support for Qi wireless charging also. It supports USB Power Delivery 2·0.


iPhone X runs on iOS 11 out of box and is upgradeable to iOS 13.4.1.
