After lots of teasing, Samsung has finally launched the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. It comes as the successor to the already powerful Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series that was launched last year. The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 comes with better and improved specs and features when compared to its predecessor. The Note 20 Ultra continues with everything that makes the Note series special and even improves on some of the key features.
In this article, I’ll be sharing with you the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra price in 2022, its full specifications, and features. Without wasting much of our time, let’s get right into it.

Display

As for the display, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra comes with a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display that has a QHD+ resolution and 496 PPI density with support for HDR10+. The screen has a tiny punch hole at the top center and it also has curved edges like its predecessor. Also, it is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
The display has a 120 Hz high refresh rate so you can enjoy smooth scrolling and gaming. And just like the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, you have to drop the resolution to FHD to enjoy the 120 Hz refresh rate.
Under the display, there’s an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.

Design

The Galaxy Note series has been an avenue for Samsung to show how good it is at designs and that doesn’t change here. The Note 20 Ultra comes with a unique boxed design with flat frames at the top and bottom. The phone has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on its rear and it is IP68 water and dust resistant.

Processor and Memory

Samsung continues the tradition of having two different chipsets in its flagships, one for the USA and one for the Global market. In the USA, the Note 20 Ultra is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ 5G chipset and for the Global market, the Note 20 Ultra is powered by the Exynos 990 chipset.
Both chipsets come with either 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of UFS 3.0 storage. On the dual-SIM models, there’s a slot for a micro SD card so you can still expand the storage.

Camera

Coming to the camera which is one of the top features of any flagship smartphone, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra has a triple rear camera and single selfie camera.
The triple rear camera features a 108MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture and OIS, a 12MP camera with 5X optical zoom, 50X hybrid zoom, & OIS, and a 12MP ultrawide camera with f/2.2 aperture. The rear cameras allow you to record videos at up to 8K at 24 fps.
The selfie camera is a 10MP lens with an f/2.2 aperture, and it can record videos at up to 4K at either 30 or 60 frames per second.

Battery and Charging

On the inside, the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra comes with a 4,500 mAh non-removable Li-Ion battery. It has support for 25W fast charging, 15W fast wireless charging, and 4.5W reverse wireless charging.

Network and Connectivity

As for the network, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra comes with support for 5G depending on the model you get. If you don’t get 5G support, the model is going to support almost all global LTE bands so far it’s unlocked. As for connectivity, the Note 20 Ultra has ultrawideband support, Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, and Samsung wireless DeX.

Software

On the software front, the Note 20 Ultra runs on Android 10 with One UI 2.0 and it is upgradable to Android 12 without One UI 4.0.

S Pen

The S Pen is iconic to the Galaxy Note series and it has gotten better with the Note 20 Ultra. The new S Pen comes with improved latency of 9ms and it also has Bluetooth connectivity which lets you use it as a remote. The S Pen will be up to 4 times faster in use when compared to the previous-gen.
