BLU Mobile has launched the BLU Studio Mini alongside its bigger variant, the BLU Studio Mega 2019. It comes with almost the same specs as its bigger sibling except for a smaller display and a more compact design. Display
The BLU Studio Mini sports a 5.5 inches IPS LCD with a resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels and 293 pixels per inch density with an aspect ratio of 18 by 9. The screen is protected by 2.5D curved glass on it.
Design and Body
The design of this phone is simple and cheap. It comes in a polycarbonate body with a thickness of 10.4 mm which makes it a bit bulky. In terms of weight, it comes in at 187 grams. Despite being a bit too thick, the BLU Studio Mini is compact.
Processor and Memory
Powering the BLU Studio Mini is the octa-core UniSoc Spreadtrum SC9863A (32nm) SoC which has a maximum clock speed of 1.6 GHz coupled with the PowerVR GE8322 GPU. It comes with a paltry 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage with micro SD support for expanding the storage.
Camera
On the rear, is a single 13MP camera with Auto Focus alongside an LED flash. On the front, is an 8MP camera with an LED flash, for all your selfie and video calls need. As for the video, both the front-facing camera and rear camera can record 1080p videos at 30 fps. The selfie camera also helps with 2D face recognition for biometric security.
Battery and Charging
The battery on the BLU Studio Mini is a Li-Po 3000 mAh one that is removable. It doesn’t support fast charging or any of those luxuries as it’s a cheap phone.
