Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3 get One UI 4 update


The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 was launched some months back in August and they both came running on One UI 3 based on Android 11. Some weeks back, Samsung began the beta testing on the One UI 4 update (based on Android 12) for the Z Fold3 and Z Flip3.
Now, four months after their launch, they have both received the stable One UI 4 (based on Android 12) update after successful completion of the beta testing.

The stable One UI 4 based on Android 12 update for the Galaxy Z Flip 3 is already available and it bears firmware version F711BXXU2BUKM. It is currently rolling out in Serbia with more countries expected to the get the update soon.
This One UI 4 update also includes the December 2021 security patch.

Nothing to launch its first-ever smartphone in early 2022

As of now, it is unclear whether the update to available to users on the One UI 4 beta update as only those on stable Android 11 build are getting the update. But a stable One UI 4 update will be rolled out to the beta users in no time.

If you are a Galaxy Z Flip 3 user in Serbia, you can check for the One UI 4 update by going to Settings, then tapping Software Update and then, tapping on Download and install.

Just like its less expensive foldable sibling, the Galaxy Z Fold3 has started receiving the One UI 4 based on Android 12 update.
However, this update is currently available to South Korean units. So if you’re in any other country, expect to receive the update in the coming days. Also, South Korean units on the One UI 4 beta are yet to receive this update as it currently available to those on the stable Android 11 build. But the beta user should be rest assure that they’ll receive stable One UI 4 update very soon.
