BLU, the American smartphone manufacturer has launched the BLU G91, its latest mid-range smartphone for this year. It is the successor to the previous BLU G90 and it is a more premium version of the BLU G71. In this article, the specs and features of the BLU G91 will be written. Display
The BLU G91 sports a large 6.5 inches IPS LCD that has a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and 270 pixels per inch density with an aspect ratio of 20 by 9. The screen has a selfie punch-hole cutout at the top left corner which allows for more screen real estate.
Design and Body
The design of the BLU G91 is fresh with a state-of-the-art gradient rubber matte paint finish which makes it stand out above other smartphones in its price range with its super soft hand feel. It comes in at 196 grams of weight and it has a thickness of 9 mm which makes it a bit sleek. The rear houses the quad-camera setup, BLU’s branding, and a fingerprint scanner for biometric security.
Processor and Memory
BLU G91 is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio A25 (12nm) SoC which has a maximum clock speed of 1.8 GHz coupled with the PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage with a dedicated micro SD card slot for expanding the storage.
Camera
On the rear, is a quad rear camera setup that features a 16MP main camera, a 5MP ultrawide camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth camera alongside an LED flash. The rear camera can record 1080p videos at 30 frames per second.
On the front, is a 16MP camera tucked in the cutout at the top left corner for all your selfie and video calls need. Just like the rear camera, the selfie camera can record 1080p videos at 30 fps.
