Realme has again introduced the Realme X50M mid-range smartphone with a 5G network in China. This phone is making it the third device in the X50 series. We already have the Realme X50 Pro that was announced in January, and then the Realme X50 Pro 5G announced in February. Below you’ll find the specs of the Realme X50m

Display and Design
The Realme X50m has a 6·57 inches FHD+ IPS LCD display with 1080×2400 pixels resolution, 399ppi density, 20:9 aspect ratio and a 90·2% screen to body ratio. The Realme X50m has a 120Hz refresh rate which offers an uplift in smooth scrolling and gaming.
The Realme X50M flaunts a glass body giving it’s a premium body looks. It measures 163.8 x 75.8 x 8.9 mm in dimensions and weight 194 grams.
Processor and Memory
Underneath the Realme X50m is a Snapdragon 765G octa-core processor based on 7nm process technology with an octa-core processor clocking at a speed of 2.4 GHz. It has Adreno 620 GPU for graphics and the SOC is paired with 8GB or 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM. It has a 128GB internal storage with no slot for expanding it.
Camera
The Realme X50m has a quad rear camera setup with 48MP primary shooter, 8MP ultrawide lens, 2MP macro sensor and 2MP depth sensor which can record 4K UHD at 30 fps.
On the front, we have a 16MP + 2MP selfie camera shooter fitted in the punch hole notch which can record Full HD at 30 fps.
Network and Connectivity
The Realme X50m has 5G/4G/3G/2G network in it for downloading, browsing and other daily needs. It has the following LTE bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 34, 38, 39, 40, 41.
Realme X50M comes with Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, WiFi Direct, Hotspot and USB-C.
Battery and Charging
The Realme X50m has non removable Li-Po 4200mAh battery. It has support for 30W Dart Charging technology which charges the phone to 70% in just 30 minutes. It charges via the USB type C port.
Software
The Realme X50m runs on Realme UI based on Android 10.
Other Feature
The Realme X50m doesn’t retain the 3·5 mm headphone jack so you’ll need a type C earphone or better a TWS earbuds. It has a side mounted fingerprint sensor.
Price
The Realme X50M 5G is available in two models namely 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. The first model is selling at a price of $284, while the second cost $324 and the sell has already kick-off in China expected to go global.
In Nigeria, the Realme X50M 5G will cost about N118,000 for the 6GB model and N128,000 for the 8GB model.
