After several leaks, Oppo unveiled its latest entry-level device for the Indonesian market with the brand new A12. The device boasts a waterdrop notch display, Helio P35 SoC and dual cameras around the back. The phone has been launched on Oppo Indonesia Official Store but there have been no information about the international availability of this phone.

Display and Build
The Oppo A12 packs a 6.22-inch IPS LCD panel with HD+ (720 x 1520 pixels) resolution, 276ppi density and a waterdrop notch cutout for the 5MP selfie camera. The panel also features a 19:9 aspect ratio and Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
Coming to the build, we have a texture polycarbonate body and a glass front.
Talking about the durability of this phone, Oppo said has performed 10000 earphone Plug In tests, 28000 10CM drop tests, 200000 power button tests, 10000 USB Plug In tests and 100000 volume button tests all with no fault arising.
Processor and Memory
The Oppo A12 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35(12nm) SoC whose frequency reaches 2·35 GHz. It also features IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU for gaming and graphics. It comes with 4GB or 3GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB of internal storage. It also has a dedicated Micro SD slot which provides extension of up to 256GB.
Camera
The 13MP OPPO A12 main lens captures every smallest detail, giving you sharp, clear photos. And the 2MP portrait lens produces the perfect bokeh effect, helping you produce portraits that look professional. It records Full HD at 30 fps.
On the front, we have a 5MP selfie camera fitted in the waterdrop notch cut out.
Network and Connectivity
The Oppo A12 has 4G LTE, 3G, 2G network in it for calling, browsing and downloading. It supports the following LTE bands FDD-LTE: Bands 1/3/5/8
TD-LTE: Bands 38/40/41.
It comes with WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0 and it supports OTG.
Battery and Charging
The Oppo A12 is backed by a non removable Li-Po 4320 mAh battery which you can watch HD videos online for up to 17 hours or play games for up to 8 hours. It charges via the Micro USB port. There’s no information whether it will support fast charging or not.
Software
The Oppo A12 runs on Color OS 6.1.2 based on Android 9 Pie.
Price
The Oppo A12 is selling at IDR 2,499,000. But there’s no information on the price for international market.
Others
The Oppo A12 has a rear mounted fingerprint scanner. It also retains the 3·5 mm headphone jack.
