The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro was announced on the 12th of March this year then was released on the 17th of the same month. The Realme 6 was announced before the Redmi Note 9 Pro on the 5th of March and was released on the 11th the same month. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is one of the successors to the previous Note 8 and Note 8 Pro. The Realme 6 is also one of the successors to the Realme 5 series launched last year. So let’s go into the comparison right away.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro sports a 6·67 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 1080×2400 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 395ppi density and a 450 nits brightness. On the other hand, The Realme 6 sports 6·5 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 1080×2400 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 405ppi density and a 480 nits brightness.
The Realme 6 has a 90Hz refresh rate which the Redmi Note 9 Pro actually lacks.
Coming to the build, we have Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on both the back and front of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro with a plastic frame while the Realme 6 has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on the front then a plastic back and frame.
The both phones are splash resistant.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G (8nm) chipset while the Realme 6 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G90T (12nm) chipset.
Coming to the GPU, the Redmi Note 9 Pro has the Adreno 618 for games and graphics while the Realme 6 has the Mali G76 MC4 for games and graphics.
The Redmi Note 9 Pro comes with 4/6GB of RAM and 64/128GB of internal storage while the Realme 6 comes with 4/6/8GB of RAM and 64/128GB of internal storage.

Camera

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a 48MP(wide) + 8MP(ultrawide) + 5MP(macro) + 2MP(depth) quad rear camera sensors while the Realme 6 had a 64MP(wide) + 8MP(ultrawide) + 2MP (depth) + 2MP(macro) quad rear camera sensors.
The both phones rear cameras can record 4K UHD(2160p) at 30fps.
On the front, both phones features a 16MP selfie camera shooter in the punch hole notch.

Network and Connectivity

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro and the Realme 6 both have 4G LTE network in it for browsing and downloading. However, the LTE bands on the Realme 6 are more than that on the Redmi Note 9 Pro.
The both have Bluetooth 5·0, WiFi, GPS, WiFi Direct and Hotspot. But the Redmi Note 9 Pro has more GPS technology than the Realme 6. The Redmi Note 9 Pro has an infrared port which is absent on the Realme 6. The Realme 6 also has an NFC tag which is also absent on the Redmi Note 9 Pro.

Battery and Charging

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is backed by a non removable Li-Po 5020mAh battery with 18W fast charging while the Realme 6 is backed by a non removable Li-Po 4300mAh battery with 30W fast charging. The both phones charge via the USB type C port.

Software

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro runs in MIUI 11 based on Android 10 while the Realme 6 runs on Realms UI based on Android 10.

Price

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro present price as at time of this post is $210 while the Realme 6 present price is at $249.

Others

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro and the Realme 6 both have a side mounted fingerprint sensor and they both retain the 3·5mm headphone jack.
