The Motorola Edge+ was announced on April 22 you this year. The Oppo Find X2 Pro was released about a month and some weeks before the Motorola Edge+. The both phones seems to be the flagship of each manufacturer. The both phones packs a lot of amazing specs which are quite attractive. I’ll be making a comparison between the both phones.
Display and Build
The Motorola Edge+ sports a 6.7-inch FHD+ ‘Endless Edge’ curved OLED display while the Oppo Find X2 Pro sports a 6·7-inch curved AMOLED display.
The Moto Edge+ has a 95·8% screen to body ratio, 21:9 aspect ratio, 385ppi density while the Oppo Find X2 Pro has a 90·9% screen to body ratio, 1440×3168 pixels, 513ppi density and a 800 nits max brightness.
The Motorola Edge+ has a 90Hz refresh rate while the Oppo Find X2 Pro has a 120Hz refresh rate. The both phones have support for HDR10+.
The Moto Edge+ screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 while the Oppo Find X2 Pro screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6.
The Motorola Edge+ is splash resistant design with no IP rating while the Oppo Find X2 Pro has an official IP68 water/dust resistance.
Processor and Memory
The Motorola Edge+ and the Oppo Find X2 Pro are both powered by an octa-core 7nm+ Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset and Adreno 650 GPU for gaming and graphics.
The Motorola Edge+ comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage (UFS 3·0) while the Oppo Find X2 Pro comes with 12GB of RAM and 256/512GB of internal storage (UFS 3·0).
The both phones have no micro SD card slot for expanding the storage.
The Motorola Edge+ has a quad rear camera setup with 108MP(wide) + 16MP(ultrawide) + 8MP(telephoto) + a TOF 3D(depth) sensors while the Oppo Find X2 Pro has a triple rear camera setup with 48MP(wide) + 48MP(ultrawide) + 13MP(telephoto) sensors.
The Motorola Edge+ can record 6K(3240p) at 30fps while the Oppo Find X2 Pro can record 4K UHD at 60fps.
On the front, the Motorola Edge+ has 25MP punch hole selfie camera while the Oppo Find X2 Pro has a 32MP punch hole selfie camera.
Network and Connectivity
The Motorola Edge+ and the Oppo Find X2 Pro have 5G and 4G LTE network in it for downloading and surfing the web.
The both phones have Global LTE bands in it making you able to connect and browse in any country.
The both phones come with Bluetooth 5·1, WiFi 6, GPS, NFC, WiFi Direct and Hotspot.
Battery and Charging
The Motorola Edge+ is backed by a non removable Li-Po 5000mAh battery while the Oppo Find X2 Pro is backed by a non removable 4260mAh battery.
Talking about charging, the Motorola Edge+ supports 18W fast wired charging via the USB type C port, 15W fast wireless charging and 5W reverse wireless charging. The Oppo Find X2 Pro only supports 65W fast wired charging via the USB type C port which charges the phone full in 38 minutes.
The Motorola Edge+ runs on Android 10·0 while the Oppo Find X2 Pro runs on Color OS 7·1 based on Android 10.
The Motorola Edge+ retails at 1199 EUR while the Oppo Find X2 Pro retails at $1239·99.
The both phones feature an in display fingerprint sensor. The Motorola Edge+ retains the 3·5 mm headphone jack while the Oppo Find X2 Pro does not retain it.
The Motorola Edge+ and Oppo Find X2 Pro both have some advantages over each other in some parts. So I guess you should pick the one which will favor you in what you do most with your phone.
