LG Tribute Monarch Specs, Price and Review


LG Tribute Monarch is an entry-level budget smartphone from the now-dead LG Mobile available from Boost Mobile. It comes with some nice specifications expected of a smartphone at its price. Starting at just $110, the LG Tribute Monarch is very affordable and everyone can get a taste of it without spending much.

The Tribute Monarch comes sporting a 5.7 inches FullView IPS LCD with a resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels and ~295 pixels per inch density. It has a U-shaped notch at the top center which houses the selfie camera.


Design and Body

The design of this phone is similar to the previous LG Mobile smartphones. It comes in a polycarbonate body that has a thickness of 8.6 mm and weighs about 146 grams. At the sides, you have the usual power button and volume and on the rear, you have the dual-camera setup, a fingerprint scanner, and LG’s branding.

Processor and Memory

LG Tribute Monarch is powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 (12nm) SoC which has a maximum clock speed of 2.0 GHz coupled with the IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage with micro SD card support.



On the rear, is a dual rear camera setup that features a 13MP main camera with Auto Focus and a 5MP ultrawide camera. The rear camera is capable of recording 1080p videos at 30 fps.
On the front, is a 5MP single camera to cater for all your selfie and video calls need. It can also record 1080p videos at 30 fps.

Battery and Charging

The battery on here is a 2,890 mAh one that is not removable. As for charging, it charges via a micro USB port and it does not support fast charging or wireless charging.


Network and Connectivity

This is a Boost Mobile smartphone and it supports all Boost Mobile networks even up to 4G. It comes with Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, GPS, and Wi-Fi hotspot.



On the software side, the LG Tribute Monarch comes running on Android 10 out of the box.
