The Infinix Smart 5 is a budget to mid-range smartphone that was recently announced by Infinix Mobility. It is the successor to the Infinix Smart 4 that was launched about a year ago. The Smart 5 comes with some upgrades over its predecessor like more RAM, better cameras, a bigger battery, and faster charging. In this article, we’ll discuss Infinix Smart 5 specs and price. I’ll also be doing a quick review of the Infinix Smart 5.
Upfront, you’re welcomed with a large 6.6 inches HD+ IPS LCD display. The display comes with a small waterdrop notch that houses the selfie camera. It comes in a plastic body that has a stylish gem cut design.
Infinix Smart 5 is powered by the quad-core MediaTek Helio A20 which has a maximum clock speed of 1.8 GHz. It comes with 2GB of RAM which is not bad for multitasking and 32GB of internal storage which is expandable using a micro SD card.
At the rear, you’d find the triple-camera setup that features a 13MP main camera and two QVGA cameras. The rear camera comes with a LED flash and it can record 1080p videos at 30 fps. At the front, there’s an 8MP camera for taking selfies and video calls. The selfie camera has a dual-LED flash which helps in low light.
The Infinix Smart 5 comes with a huge 5,000 mAh battery. It supports fast-charging up to 10W. Fortunately, it does support 4G LTE which lets you access high internet speeds when surfing the web and downloading.
This Infinix Smart 5 smartphone comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and Face Unlock for biometric security.
Olla V9 Pro price in Nigeria starts at 39,900 which is around $99 depending on your deal and location. It is available in all top online and offline stores across the country.
The Infinix Smart 5 is a pretty good phone if it was much less price as in its price range, there are better alternatives. However, the cameras don’t perform up to standard. Performance-wise, it is a mixed feeling as it comes with a less powerful processor when compared to its predecessor but with more RAM which aids multitasking. The cameras got better but it’s not good enough. The battery life is awesome as it can last you for up 2 days with heavy usage.
The detailed specifications and features of the Infinix Smart 5 are in the specs table.
