This week has been amazing with some new devices being introduced, including the Huawei P40 series. Today, we will be having a comparison between the newly launched Huawei P40 Pro and the Apple iPhone 11. Let’s get started right away
Display and Design
The Huawei P40 sports a 6.1 inches OLED display with 1080×2340 pixels, 86.3% screen to body ratio, 422 ppi density and 19·5:9 aspect ratio While the iPhone 11 sports a 6.1 inches Liquid Retina IPS LCD display with 828×1792 pixels, 79.0% screen to body ratio, 326 ppi density and 19·5:9 aspect ratio. Without forgetting, the Huawei P40 has IP53 dust/splash protection while the iPhone 11 has a IP68 dust/water resistant up to 2m for 30mins.
Processor
The Huawei P40 is powered by the 7nm+ HiSilicon Kirin 990 5G chipset clocking at 2.86 GHz and the Mali G76 MP16 for gaming and graphics While the iPhone 11 is powered by the 7nm+ Apple A13 bionic chipset clocking at 2.65 GHz and the Apple GPU for gaming and graphics.
The Huawei P40 comes with 6/8GB of RAM with 128/256GB if storage while the iPhone 11 comes with 4GB of RAM with 64/128/256GB of storage.
Camera
The Huawei P40 comes with a triple rear camera with 50MP(wide), 16MP(ultrawide) and 8MP(telephoto) sensors which can record 4K at 30/60fps While the iPhone 11 comes with a dual rear camera with 12MP(wide) and 12MP(ultrawide) sensors which can record 4K at 24/30/60fps.
On the front, the Huawei P40 has a 32MP(wide) and 3D TOF(biometrics) sensors which can record 4K at 30/60fps While the iPhone 11 has 12MP(wide) and SL 3D(depth/biometrics) sensor which can record 4K at 24/30/60fps.
Battery and Charging
The Huawei P40 is backed by a non removable Li-Po 3800mAh battery with 22.5W fast charge via USB type C port while the iPhone 11 is backed by a non removable Li-Ion 3110mAh battery with wired charging and Qi wireless charging.
Network and Connectivity
The Huawei P40 has 5G and 4G LTE network in it for downloading and surfing the web While the iPhone 11 has only 4G LTE network for downloading and browsing.
The Huawei P40 comes with Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC, Infrared port and WiFi. The iPhone 11 comes with Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC and WiFi.
Software
The Huawei P40 runs on EMUI 10.1 based on Android 10 while the iPhone 11 runs on iOS 13.
Others
The Huawei P40 has an in display fingerprint sensor, infrared face recognition but doesn’t have the 3.5mm headphone jack. The iPhone 11 has Face ID but also doesn’t have the 3.5mm headphone jack.
